Garrett had a tough front. He started with a four-putt and had to work to keep it around bogey golf. Atlantic Head Coach Ed Den Beste says, “it was a tough day with the wind, but they had to grind it out and forget those bad breaks.
“Lane had a good front but tougher back. Cruz had a great start with a birdie and a par. Then he had to work to keep it low. Solid round today. Good to see Tristan have a good front nine after a tough back nine. Roth started rough but got it figured out. He had two birdies in the last ten holes. Cooper had some tough holes and took some penalty shots that didn’t help him. Good to be done and a great test for our team in probably the worst conditions we have played in in the last few years.”
