(Red Oak) A Red Oak man is in custody after attempting to elude officers.
Police attempted to stop 42-year-old Kim Jack Douglas Trost in the 2100 block of Highway 48. Trost fled onto Ohio Street, led officers on S 2nd Street and Oakwood Avenue, and attempted to hide in a residential driveway.
Authorities arrested Trost and transported him to jail on charges of Driving with a Suspended License, Eluding, and other traffic violations. Trost is held on a $1,000 bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Red Oak Police Department.
