(Red Oak) One person suffered minor injuries, and another faced charges following a three-vehicle accident in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 11:06 p.m. on Monday at the River Bridge east of Highway 34 and G Avenue. Rescue Crews transported 20-year old Alyssa Anne Bartmess of Clarinda to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Deputies arrested 55-year old Steven Lynn Henderson of Oakland, Nebraska, for OWI 1st Offense. Authorities transported Henderson to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $1,000 bond.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson driving an eastbound Chevrolet 2500, struck Bartmess Pontiac G6, pushing her vehicle into Daniel James Wilson Jr. of Red Oak. Bartmess and Willson were stopped at a red light at a construction zone.
All three vehicles sustained total damages and were towed from the scene.
The Red Oak Police Department and the Red Oak Fire Department assisted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
