(Atlantic) An arraignment will be held Monday for an Atlantic man charged with Attempted Murder and Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury.
Richard J. Doss Jr., 34, was arrested after the Cass County Memorial Hospital notified the Atlantic Police Department of a male stabbing victim arriving at the emergency room on Sunday, December 5th. Police say the incident occurred at apartment 26B of the Walnut Hills Terrace Apartments. Air ambulance transported the victim to UNMC in Omaha. Doss Jr. was arrested the following day.
At an arraignment, the court will read the formal charges and Doss can enter a plea. Meanwhile, trial is currently scheduled for February 22nd.
