(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health’s weekly data shows 1,085 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Region 4 from Wednesday, December 29 through Wednesday, January 5.
Over the past seven days, the Iowa Department of Public Health reports 645 new positive tests in Pottawattamie County, 88 in Crawford County, 31 in Page County, 64 in Harrison County, 66 in Mills County, 50 in Cass County, 49 in Shelby County, 30 in Montgomery County, 26 in Fremont County, 24 in Audubon County, and 12 in Adams County.
IDPH also reports six additional deaths in Pottawattamie County, one in Harrison County, one in Mills County, one in Cass County, two in Shelby County, two in Fremont County, and one in Adams County.

In Region 1, the IDPH reports 32 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Guthrie County, (1,977 total positive tests) (41 deaths). The IDPH reports 38 additional positive cases in Adair County, (1,516 total positive tests) and one additional death (44 deaths).
