(Creston) Creston Police reported three drug-related arrests in its latest report.
Police arrested 26-year old Casey Welch of Creston on Friday, on five Livingston County, Missouri warrants for failure to appear on the original charges of two counts of possession of marijuana, failure to appear for a felony charge, failure to appear on the original charge of possession of paraphernalia, with a prior drug offense, and failure to appear on the original charge of DWI, and driving while revoked. Authorities transported Welch to the Union County Jail and held him on a $26,700 bond, awaiting extradition to Missouri.
Police also arrested 31-year old Stevie Beal of Des Moines on Friday evening on several drug possession charges. Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd offense, Methamphetamine, Possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense, Marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. Authorities released her from the Adams County Jail on a $3,300 bond.
Police arrested Jose Estrada of Des Moines on Friday to possess a controlled substance 1st offense and possession of paraphernalia. Authorities released him on a $1,300 bond.
Police on Sunday arrested 31-year old Chelsey Kile of Creston at her residence on three Union County warrants for; Failure to Serve time on the original charge of Theft 5th Degree, Violation of Protection Order (9 counts), Controlled Substance Violation, Driving While Barred, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense. She is being held in the Adams County Jail and must complete her court-ordered sentence for Warrant 1, awaiting a bond hearing on Warrant 2 and a $13,000 on Warrant 3.
Police arrested 23-year old Kane Farlow of Creston on Saturday on a Department of Corrections warrant for the charge of Violation of Parole. He is being held in the Union County Jail without bond.
Bud Harper of Creston reported to Police sometime in the previous 24 hours; someone stole an engine cover off his pontoon board he is attempting to sell. The loss is estimated at $250.00.
