(Sidney) A Fremont County man is in custody again on stalking and harassment charges.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year old Jeremy Rhoades of Hamburg on Tuesday for stalking and violating a no-contact order.
Deputies allege on March 22 and March 23, Rhoades drove past the victims’ employment place numerous times, revving his engine. On one occasion, he circled the block around the business, making his presence known to the occupants, causing the employees to fear their safety.
Rhoades was previously released from the Fremont County Jail on March 19, after posting a $1,000 cash/surety bond for 2nd – degree harassment, 3rd –degree harassment, and a $13,000 cash bond for 1st –degree harassment and 2nd-degree harassment, stalking with a dangerous weapon, and extortion.
Rhoades is currently being held in the Fremont County Jail, pending an initial appearance in front of a magistrate.
