(Atlantic) Atlantic/CAM and Underwood matchup in a dual wrestling meet on Thursday evening in Atlantic. Underwood enters the season on the heels of a 3rd place finish in the Class 1A State Wrestling Tournament. Atlantic/CAM returns two state qualifiers and a host of other returnees from a 21-win dual season one year ago.
Atlantic/CAM Head Coach Tim Duff says Underwood has another solid squad under Head Coach Joe Stephens led by state medal winner Stevie Barnes and returning state champion Gable Porter.
Coach Duff says a new Thomsen brother, Carson Thomsen enters the varsity scene, and Nick Stephens a returning upperclassman is back as well.
Duff expects this to be a competitive dual and good first test for his squad.
