Anthony Bruns, 37, of Springhill, LA passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, IA with visitation being held prior to the funeral beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.
Anthony John Bruns was born on February 20, 1983 in Shenandoah, IA. He graduated from Boyer Valley schools in Dunlap, IA. Anthony was the proud father of Lucas, Xavier, Isiah, Kyisha and Kearah.
Anthony loved football especially cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed listening to music, tinkering with bicycles, and going fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time and being a father to his kids.
Anthony is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Oldham and uncle, Jack Oldham.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Glennis McCotter and her husband, Rick; children, Lucas Bruns, Xavier Bruns, Isiah Bruns, Kyisha Bruns, and Kearah Bruns all of Springhill, LA; sisters, Crystal Bruns of Benton, LA and her children Seth Henson and Hadden Bruns; Tisha Kruse of Atlantic, IA; maternal grandmother, Alice Terry of Springhill, LA; other relatives and a host of friends.
