(Atlantic) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports six arrests.
Terry Dean Calhoun, 63, of Anita, was arrested August 14th on a District Court warrant for Probation Violation. Calhoun was taken to the Cass County Jail where he remains held on $10,000 bond.
James Arthur Erickson, 32, of Atlantic, was arrested August 20th on one Atlantic Police Department warrant for Domestic Assault (Serious) and four District Court warrants for Failure to Appear. Erickson was taken to the Cass County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
Austin Allen Schmitt, 27, of Des Moines, was arrested August 17th on a District Court warrant for Violation of Probation. Schmitt was taken to the Cass County Jail where he remains held on $2,000 bond.
Brenda Nichole Leah Kinzie, 36, of Council Bluffs, was arrested August 21st on two District Court warrants for Probation Violation. Kinzie was taken to the Cass County Jail where she remains held on $10,000 bond.
Rex Dean McDermott, 53, of Atlantic, was arrested August 22nd on a charge of OWI 3rd or Subsequent (D Felony). McDermott was taken to the Cass County Jail and later released on $5,000 bond.
On August 22nd, in response to a reported fight, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jaden Allen Green, 21, of Atlantic; Kolby Austin Fulk, 22, of Walnut; Parrish Wright, 20, of Atlantic; and Logan Allen Russell, 21, of Atlantic, on one charge each of Disorderly Conduct (Simple). The parties were transported to the Cass County Jail and released later that day on their own recognizances.
