(Creston) Creston Police report four arrests and one theft over the weekend.
*Creston Police arrested 26-year old Austin Jones, of Creston, on Friday at the Law Enforcement Center on a Montgomery County Warrant for Violation of Probation. He was transferred to the custody of Montgomery County.
*Creston Police arrested 32-year old Marrell Beaman, of Creston on Saturday, for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 3rd or subsequent offense, Possession of Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication. He was released from the Union County Jail on a Promise to Appear.
*Creston Police arrested 41-year old Crystal Mack of Creston on Saturday, for OWI 2nd, Possession of Paraphernalia, Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd offense, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Deliver or Manufacture. She is being held in the Adams County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
*Creston Police arrested 43-year old Toby Simpson of Creston on Sunday for Public Intoxication and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills. He was released from the Union County Jail on a Promise to Appear.
In a separate incident; Creston received a report from Howard Field of theft on his property. Fields told police someone entered his home and stole a gun safe, stun gun, and other miscellaneous items from the residence. The estimated loss is $800.00.
