(Adair Co.) A Des Moines man was arrested on an Adair County warrant for Theft 1st Degree. The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Thomas Michael Yarges was taken into custody on October 19th. Yarges is accused of stealing a 2025 Chevrolet 2500 truck from the Maverik in Stuart on July 21st. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
In other activity, the Stuart Police Department arrested 47-year-old William Joseph Mumford, of Stuart, on October 21st for Assault with Bodily Injury. Bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
The Greenfield Police Department cited and released 34-year-old Junior Romain Hicks, of Fontanelle, on October 24th for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
