(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 383 new positive cases of COVID-19 over the past 24-hours between 10:00 a.m. on August 7, to 10:00 a.m. this morning.
According to KCCI, there were 383 new positive tests for COVID-19. There are 48,112 individuals that have tested positive, out of 514,451 tests for COVID-19, and 36,850 who have recovered leaving the total number of positive cases recovering to date at 11,262. The death toll is at 925.
In the past 24 hours 33 Iowans have been admitted into the hospital for COVID-19, there are a total of 229 COVID-19 patients who are hospitalized and 58 are in the ICU.
