The Vikings erased a nine point halftime deficit to get to 11-1 on the season. After being held to 18 in the first half they scored 36 after the break. Clayton Akers and Raydden Grobe each scored 10 points. Micheal Mantell, Brayden Lund, and Sam Porter all scored 8. Mantell had 11 rebounds and Akers grabbed 7 boards. Underwood’s top scorer was Nick Ravlin with 11.
CAM 66, West Harrison 60
The Cougars go to 9-2 on the season. The game was neck and neck most of the way, but CAM outscored the Hawkeyes by three in the first quarter and by three in the fourth quarter for the final margin of six points. It was a classic CAM box score with three players scoring 12 points and three others between 7-9. Jacob Holste scored 9 of his 12 in the 2nd half. Nate Hensley had all 12 of his in the 2nd half and made 5/5 free-throws. Ben Tibken also scored a dozen. Connor McKee was 5/6 at the free-throw line with 9 points. McKee added 9 rebounds and 3 assists while Lane Spieker had 6 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Nick Rife led West Harrison with 16.
IKM-Manning 62, Riverside 32
Brogan Allensworth sunk 5/6 at the free-throw line and scored 11 points. Drake Woods contributed 8 points. Allensworth also had 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Nodaway Valley 67, East Union 21
Nodaway Valley’s scoring chart included 19 from Clay Hohertz, Toby Bower 16, Josh Baudler 14, and Mason Menefee 12. The Wolverines took complete control with a 12-2 start to the 2nd quarter and outscored the opponents 19-4 in the 3rd quarter.
