(Glenwood) One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 near Glenwood.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 6:04 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the 38-mile marker. Authorities say 63-year old John Burr of Bellevue, Nebraska, was injured in the crash.
According to the report; a southbound 2013 Ford F150 pickup driven by Burr exited the Interstate at the 38-mile marker and entered the southbound rest area. The southbound pickup continued into the truck parking area and collided with a parked semi. The F150 made contact with the trailer and struck the driver’s side duals head-on. The pickup came to rest under the trailer.
The semi-tractor was driven away. The trailer had to be towed.
