(Atlantic) Today is the final day to cast your ballots in the midterm election. Monday was the last day to vote at your respective auditor’s office. Absentee ballots must be returned to the auditor’s office before polls close at 8:00 p.m. on election night in order to be counted. Voters will now vote at their respective polling centers.
Cass County Auditor Kathy Somers says the deadline to be pre-registered to vote was October 19; however, there is a process called election day registration.
In Cass County, two locations are moving to their permanent locations. Somers says the Massena Public Library and the CAM Middle School Library are moving to the new Massena Community Building st 116 Main Street.
If you live in Edna Township, Victoria Township, East Massena Township, West Massena Township, or the City of Massena, your new polling center is the Massena Community Center. Union and Cumberland residents will still vote at the Cumberland Community Center.
