(Council Bluffs) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports ten arrests over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Jeff Riemenschneider, 42, was arrested following a disturbance in the 100 block of Wilshire Avenue on November 28th. Riemenschneider was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense Causing Bodily Injury and two counts of Child Endangerment.
Damian Allen Govig, 38, was arrested November 28th after law enforcement observed a male pushing a motorcycle on the shoulder at Tamarack Road and 400th Street. A routine check of the motorcycle revealed it was stolen out of Omaha, Nebraska. Govig was charged with Theft 2nd – Possession of Stolen Property.
Scott A. Miller, 57, was arrested November 28th for Operating Under the Influence Third or Subsequent Offense.
Richard Allen Sullivan, 50, of Treynor, was charged on November 29th for Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order – Contempt.
Nicholas Gaer, 39, of Council Bluffs, was arrested November 30th after Deputies were dispatched to a burglary to a residence on Badger Avenue. Gaer was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 2nd.
Walter Mummey, 68, was arrested November 30th after Deputies were dispatched to 145th and Rosewood for a vehicle that had driven into the water. Mummey was transported to Jenny Edmundson Hospital. He was charged with Operating While Intoxicated First Offense.
Gerald Thomas Tapp, Jr., 51, of Washta, Iowa, was arrested December 1st for Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.
Marlon Nelson, 40, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested December 1st for Fugitive from Justice. Nelson had a valid nationwide warrant out of Arkansas for Parole Violation.
Dorothy Marie Thompson, 45, was arrested December 1st for Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.
A 15-year-old female was arrested November 27th for Theft 4th – Possession of Stolen Property after Deputies were called to a theft complaint on Dogwood Road.
