(Atlantic) Healthy Cass County, in collaboration with Thrive Iowa – Cass County’s Alliance, invites community organizations, service providers, and residents to a collaborative meeting on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Cass County Community Center in Atlantic.
As the holiday season approaches, many local organizations, businesses, churches, and community members are working to support individuals and families throughout Cass County. From Angel Trees and holiday meal boxes to coat drives, gift donations, and other seasonal assistance programs, these efforts make a meaningful difference in our communities.
Healthy Cass County and Thrive Iowa would like to bring these groups together for a community roundtable discussion focused on sharing resources, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring holiday assistance reaches those who need it most.
Organizations and individuals coordinating holiday assistance programs are encouraged to attend and share information about their efforts, including who they serve, how individuals can access assistance, and opportunities for community involvement.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity to identify potential gaps in services, reduce duplication of efforts, and help organizations better understand the resources available so they can connect the individuals and families they serve with appropriate support.
All community members are welcome to attend, whether they are organizing a holiday assistance program, working directly with individuals and families, or simply interested in learning more about the resources available in Cass County.
“Our community does incredible things to support one another during the holiday season. By bringing everyone together, we hope to better understand what is already being offered, help spread the word about available resources, and find ways to work together so our efforts can make the greatest impact.”
