(Guthrie Center, IA) — Its Homecoming week at AC/GC as the Chargers football team prepares to build on last week’s 47-13 win over Danville. Wideout Will Skram threw a 54 yard TD pass to Kinnick Froehlich and AC/GC pounded out 373 yards on the ground.
Senior Cole Van Meter plays wide receiver but is mostly used for blocking and he says the Chargers lost a lot from last year’s team but this season’s players are getting comfortable in their roles
Head Coach William Shull has shuffled the offensive line and Senior Garrett Lemke has moved from guard to tackle and he has made the adjustment
Senior Cash Suhr has moved from center to tackle to guard and he says it has not been easy
Senior Ryder Cline had 11 carries for 100 yards and a TD against Danville but he prefers defense where he is 2nd on the team in tackles with 36.5
AC/GC hosts AHSTW this Friday; our Charger Homecoming interviews will air Friday starting at 2:00 pm on KSOM.
