(NAFB News Service) You’ve undoubtedly heard the reports or warnings that we’ve now shifted into a Super El Niño situation.
Cliff Mass, Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington, says El Nino tends to mean warmer and drier conditions in the West, so less rain and less snowpack. But…
But call it what you will, Mass says this year will be Super.
And this, Mass says, hasn’t happened very often in the Western U.S.
So, Mass says, bottom line.
