(Atlantic) The Cass County Library Association will host a Pizza, Puzzle and Pub Night fundraiser to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program in Cass County.
The event will be held Friday, November 13th, at The Venue in Atlantic. Teams of four can register for $120 and will race to complete a 300-piece puzzle while eating a large pizza and drinking 12 bottled or canned beverages.
Those choosing alcoholic beverages must have appropriate identification. A cash bar will also be available, with tips encouraged.
Participants can purchase additional “puzzle up” opportunities during the event. Teams that dress up or decorate their table to celebrate Dolly Parton will receive a free puzzle up.
The cost is about $32 per child annually.
More than 500 children in Cass County have been enrolled in the program, with 344 children currently receiving books each month.
Registration and payment by cash or check are required by November 6th. Registration is available through an online form, and assistance is available at any Cass County library.
Parents can register children for the Imagination Library at imaginationlibrary.com by clicking “Check Availability.”
