(Polk County, IA) — Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a reported stabbing Monday evening.
Deputies responded at approximately 6:30 p.m. to the 100 block of NW Aurora Avenue, where they located an adult male with an apparent stab wound.
The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
One individual has been detained. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities say there is no known threat to the community at this time.
The sheriff’s office says it has no further details and will release additional information when available.
