The Panthers have a new Head Coach Jim Demers who does not have great numbers on this year’s team but has a very talented returning WR in Reed Draper who had 43 receptions for 593 yards last season plus Cruz Crandall is back at QB who threw for 1,084 yards.
Southwest Valley has not had a winning season since 2022 and is led by Junior QB Wyatt Shires who took over mid season last year — Senior Walker Bissell will be featured extensively in the offense and will be one of the leaders on defense. Head Coach Keegan Longabaugh says this team is ready to win

Riverside will visit Red Oak tonight. Senior Peyton Amdor has won the quarterback battle in camp and will get the start tonight against the Tigers. It will be the debut of Taylor Johannsen as the Bulldogs new Head Coach replacing Darrell Frain — Johannsen says he has not overhauled much, staying with what has worked
In 8 Man football, Coon Rapids Bayard visits Kingsley Pierson. The Crusaders will start Sophomore Tucker Lewis at QB — the Panthers have to replace all their skill guys from a year ago. Both teams made the playoffs in 2025 — CRB Head Coach Nathan Lindsay expects a close game
