(Atlantic) The Atlantic baseball team travels to Shenandoah tonight. The Trojans are looking to get back on track. Head Coach Nathan Block says the team needs to stay competitive, be aggressive at the plate, and keep the opposition off the base paths.
The Trojans swept the Mustangs one year ago. Block says Shenandoah is a different ball club this season. The Mustangs are hitting .332 on the season, led by three players hitting over .400. Tyson Harris, .429, Tyler Babe, .405, and Teagan Brunk is batting .400.
The Trojans are batting .211 led by Kale Jensen, batting .380, with six home runs and 13 RBI.
Coach Block says there are others contributing at the plate, including 8th grader Paxton Pross who is hitting .270.
