(Atlantic) The City of Atlantic says crews continue to work on the traffic light at 7th and Plum Streets. The light was struck by lightning last week and has been out of service since then.
Crews have been on site working to repair the traffic light but are currently waiting for parts. Temporary stop signs have been installed for cross traffic on northbound and southbound Plum Street.
The City advises motorists to use an alternate route, if possible, to help avoid potential traffic incidents.
