Work release resident Eric Daugherty Sr. fails to return in Des Moines

(Des Moines) Eric Tyrone Daugherty Sr. failed to return to the Fort Des Moines Work Release Facility as required on June 6th, 2026.

Daugherty Sr. is serving time for Robbery 2nd in Polk County, along with additional convictions for Harassment, Stalking, and Domestic Abuse.

Daugherty Sr. is a 60-year-old, , 5’9″ 199-pound Black Male. He was admitted to the work release facility on October 20th, 2025.

The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking assistance from the public in locating Daugherty Sr. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
