(Atlantic, IA) — Braxton Hass announced on Wednesday that he will be wrestling at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. At Atlantic, Hass went 171-45 in his four years and is a three time state tournament qualifier finishing in 7th place and 54-8 this past season — he also won two Hawkeye Ten Conference titles. Hass says it was not easy making up his mind on a college choice
Hass loves the facilities at Iowa Western and he knows a few people currently at the school like former teammate Aiden Smith. He developed confidence this past season that he could wrestle at the next level
Hass feels like he has done a number of different things to improve as a wrestler while at Atlantic
Hass loves the sports tradition at Iowa Western
Hass has two seasons of wrestling eligibility at Iowa Western but is not thinking right now of wrestling at a bigger school after that. Hass will be pursuing a major of construction business management.
