(Stillwater, OK) — Audi Crooks will stay in the Big 12 conference and transfer to Oklahoma St. according to On3 Sports.
Crooks was considered the top player in the women’s basketball portal and joins a Cowgirl team that went 24-10 last season and lost in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament to eventual champion UCLA.
With Iowa St., Crooks averaged 25.8 points and ranked 2nd in the country in scoring. She also averaged 7.7 rebounds.
Crooks joins a huge incoming class to Oklahoma St. via the portal — there will be six new players including the former Cyclone center joining the team. Among them is All SEC guard Liv McGill from Florida who averaged 22.5 points per game last season and the Division II player of the year Talexa Weeter from Fort Hays St. who averaged 27.5 points per game.
The schedule for next season has not been announced but Iowa St. and Oklahoma St. played a home and home game this past season — two seasons ago the two teams played in Stillwater. If the Big 12’s scheduling pattern stays the same, then the Cowgirls will visit Hilton Coliseum during the 2026-27 season.
