(Lake View, IA) — East Sac County High School hosted their Co Ed Raider Relays on Friday night. Newell Fonda won the girls competition with 135 points ahead of the Raiders with 130. Boyer Valley finished in 4th place with 93 points. Ridge View won the boys meet with 166 points while South Central Calhoun was 2nd with 122. Boyer Valley was 3rd with 83 and Tri Center 4th with 77.
Zach Nelson had the only win for the Trojans in the 100 meter dash at 12.20 seconds. AJ Harder was 3rd in the 100 (12.53); Rylan Ring 3rd in the 110 Hurdles (18.58); Gideon Bell was 3rd in the Long Jump (18-00.25). Tri Center’s 4×400 relay finished 3rd with Nelson, Weers, Bell and Harder (4:00.26). Haven Weers did not run in either of his signature events, the one mile and two mile.
Trevon Keely for Paton Churdan won the 200 (23.96) but did not compete in the High Jump after getting the blue standard for the Drake Relays on Thursday night. Blaise Schilling was 2nd in the Long Jump (19-00.25); Shane Kiley was 2nd in the High Jump (5-04); Patrick Wolterman was 2nd in the Discus (116-11).
Morgan Hast of Boyer Valley won the 100 (13.13); Emma Mitchell was 2nd in the 800 (2:57.42); and Jenna Mitchell was 3rd in the Discus (90-04). For the boys, Liam Muff won the 400 (57.09); Dane Gorham won the 1600 (4:53.52); Owen Cogdill won the 3200 (10:56.81); and the Bulldogs Distance Medley won with Koski, Sindt, Denton, and Gorham (4:04.86).
