(Audubon) Race track Officials announced a brand-new partnership between Carroll County and Audubon County, bringing racers in something BIG for 2026!
Introducing the Coon / Audubon Combined Points Championship. Racing Committee member John Sandbothe says for the first time, drivers will have the opportunity to earn points at BOTH tracks toward one combined championship.
Sandbothe says they have aligned rules and classes to boost car counts and improve competitiveness. He says drivers will be able to compete at both tracks. Audubon runs on Friday, and Coon Rapids races on Saturday night, two nights each month during the summer.
Sandbothe says the classes include open Rear Wheel Drive, open Front Wheel Drive, stock Front Wheel Drive, and old school.
The races are scheduled for May 1, May 15, June 12, July 17, and July 31.
