(Waterloo, Iowa) A Waterloo, Iowa man died in a fiery crash in Black Hawk County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 1:55 p.m. on Monday near 4505 Crane Creek Road. Authorities identified the victim as 66-year-old Scott Reynolds.
According to the report Reynolds was driving a southbound 2020 Polaris UTV just north of 4505 Crane Creek Road when the UTV left the road and rolled into the east ditch. The UTV came to rest on the driver’s side and caught fire. Scott Reynolds was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkerton Fire and Ambulance, and Sheetz Towing assisted the Iowa State Patrol at the scene.
