(Atlantic) Atlantic senior Donovan Hedrington (190) reached a significant milestone at the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Duals on Saturday.
The Trojans went 3-1 on the day with wins over Southeast Polk, Mediapolis, and Lincoln College Prep—their only loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
Donovan Hedrington went 4-0 on the day, dominating the opposition with four pins and, most importantly, surpassing the 100-win milestone with his 103rd career win. Hedrington, a state qualifier one year ago, already has 22 wins on the season. For his performance over the weekend, Hedrington is awarded the KS 95.7 Armour Insurance Athlete of the Week.
The Trojans defeated Southeast Polk 45–28, Mediapolis 71–6, and Lincoln College Prep 65–10, before falling to host Eddyville–Blakesburg–Fremont 56–17.
The Trojans travel to Ida Grove tonight for a quadrangular with OABCIG, Logan-Magnolia, and Woodbine. Travel to Denison on Thursday for a triangular with Denison-Schleswig and Harlan. And host the Rollin Dyer Tournament on Saturday.
