(Winterset) One person died in a UTV accident in Madison County.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a 9-1-1 call came in shortly after midnight on October 11, reporting a UTV crash with injuries at the intersection of Quarry Trail & Quailridge Avenue, six miles northeast of Winterset.
First Responders identified the driver as 19-year-old Harlan Tomlinson III of Norwalk. Tomlinson was killed when the UTV he was operating entered the ditch and rolled. An investigation is ongoing into the crash.
The Madison County Ambulance, Winterset Fire Department, and the Madison County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
