(Adair Co) A Utah woman was arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop in Stuart on July 9. Stuart Police say 73-year-old Sharon Ann Krstich of Clearfield, Utah, showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking alcohol before driving. Officers found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a THC vape. She was charged with OWI 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was also cited for Failure to Yield and Open Container. Krstich was released later that day after posting $1,000 bond.
In other activity, the Adair Police Department arrested 33-year-old Taylor Jay Edelman, of Adair, on July 11th on a warrant for Harassment 1st Degree and Disorderly Conduct – Obstruct Highway/Street/Road with Speed Restrictions. Charges against Taylor Edelman stem from a June 20 incident in Adair, where police say he stopped his vehicle, squealed his tires, and shouted profanities at a firefighter outside the fire station. Witnesses told officers Edelman had earlier yelled at children and thrown a can. He later allegedly threatened to return and “shoot the building up.” Firefighters provided written statements on June 21. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety. Edelman was released on bond later that day.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Britney Marie Wilson, of Orient, on July 7th for Domestic Assault – Injury or Mental Illness 1st and Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness. Wilson is accused of assaulting a female and her ex husband. Wilson was released from jail later that day on her own recognizance.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Travis Quinn Wambold, of Creston, on July 12th on a Union County warrant for Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree. Wambold was taken directly to meet with Union County Deputies.
The Greenfield Police Department arrested 30-year-old Cody Alan Brommel, of Stuart, on July 12th for Harassment 3rd Degree. Bond was set at $300 cash or surety. Brommel was released later that day on bond.
