(Corning) Two people face drug possession charges in Adams County. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 148 and 200th Street on August 9. The investigation led to the arrest of 27-year-old Aaron Johnson and 34-year-old Tonya Tindle, both from Creston. Johnson and Tindle each faced charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. K-9 Midge assisted the Adams County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports four other arrests:
*On Friday, August 23, Deputies arrested 33-year-old Frank Sylvester Mills, Junior of Marathon, New York, on an active warrant for Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Domestic Abuse Assault and a second warrant for Harboring a runaway. Authorities transported him to the Adams County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
On August 19, Deputies arrested 29-year-old Jeffrey Whitt of Villisca following a traffic stop for a window tint violation. During the stop, deputies found him in possession of marijuana. Authorities charged Whitt with possession of a controlled substance (PCS), 3rd Offense, transported him to the Adams County Jail, and held him on a $2,000 bond until a judge could see him.
On August 11, Adams County Deputies arrested Noble John Murren of Creston for OWI/1st offense and driving under suspension. Officers transported Murren to the Adams County Jail and held him on a $1,300 cash bond.
On August 9th, Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Highway 148 and 200th Street. The stop led to the arrest of 27-year-old Aaron Johnson of Creston for PCS (a serious misdemeanor) and Possession of drug paraphernalia. His passenger, 34-year-old Tonya Tindle of Creston, was arrested for PCS (a Class-D Felony) and possession of paraphernalia. Adams County Deputies were assisted during their investigation by Adams County K9 “Midge.”
