(Atlantic) One person suffered injuries in a pit bike (dirt bike) accident at the Schildberg Campgrounds in Atlantic.
The Atlantic Police Department says the accident happened at 6:36 p.m. on Saturday at North Chestnut Street and Iowa Avenue in the grass along the sidewalk of the campgrounds. Hazel Clark, of Calhoun, Louisiana, sustained a head injury in the crash. According to the report, the dirt bike tire caught the concrete, ejecting Clark from the vehicle. Cass EMS transported Clark to the Cass County Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
