(West Des Moines, IA) – As we’re headed to the end of the regular season of softball action, the IGHSAU has released its week seven rankings for the 2024 softball season. These rankings are compiled by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The local teams in Class 1A feature Martensdale-St Marys and Wayne remaining in first and second, Earlham takes a spot outside the top ten at #11, Griswold moves up to #12, and Woodbine jumps into the rankings at#15. For Class 2A teams, Van Meter stays in first, Audubon moves down to fifth, West Monona is back in the rankings at#9, Interstate-35 remains at #10, and Treynor stays in the rankings at #15. In Class 3A, Clarinda stays right in 9th overall. Jumping over to Class 4A, North Polk remains in first, ADM has been put up a spot to #5, Carlisle, Winterset, and Bondurant-Farrar are 9th, 10th, and 11th.
