(Ames, IA) – Iowa State football has announced an incoming recruit for the 2024-25 football season. Three-star recruit, Ryver Peppers has announced that he will be committing to Iowa State as an incoming running back.
During the 2023 season, the Independence, Missouri native rushed for 1,642 yards for 31 touchdowns and a hair under eight yards per carry. He also caught 16 total passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns to add on to the already 31 he scored as a runningback. Peppers also received offers from Northwestern, Kansas State, and Harvard to play for their football programs.
He will now join alongside Abu Sama and Carson Hansen in the running back position this coming season after Sama had an impressive season on the ground.
Peppers is now just the first running back to be joining the Cyclones and was a multi-sport athlete in high school participating in both track and field and basketball.
