(Anita, IA) – Southwestern Community College has announced a signing from one of our local schools as CAM senior, Natalie Behnken, has signed to join the dance team for the 2024-25 season. CAM Dance Head Coach Grace McAfee said that this is a perfect opportunity for Behnken, as this will help her to earn her business degree, specifically in reality.
Behnken has been a team leader and supporter for her girls all season long. Southwestern Head Coach Paige Russo said, “Natalie will be such a great leader on the dance team, as her dance abilities are already eye-catching.”
Behnken was able to earn two Division I Dance Ratings throughout her high school career, a tough honor to earn. The senior also has been involved in studio dance for 12 years and played volleyball for two years where she earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention and played softball for the Cougars. Through her achievements, she is a hard worker and somebody who is always looking to work above and beyond.
From freshman year to senior year, she is somebody who Coach McAfee has seen grow with not only dance but in life.
Behnken will continue on to Southwest Community College following graduation. Congratulations to Natalie Behnken and her parents Kim and Blaine Behnken!
