Iowa Hits Record Number of Organ Donors and Transplants

(Des Moines) The Iowa Donor Network reports an increase in organ donors and transplant recipients.

Julia Schneider is the Chief Development Officer at the Iowa Donor Network.  Since 2019, the number of organ donors has increased by 40 percent and the number of transplants by 21 percent. Currently, there are over 600 Iowans on the organ waiting list.
