(Johnston) A 50-year-old woman is dead after sustaining severe brain damage from an assault by a teenager at the Ellipsis youth facility.
The incident occurred on May 8th when Kathleen Galloway-Menke responded to a 15-year-old boy fleeing the facility. The boy allegedly pushed her, causing her to fall and hit her head on the concrete. Galloway-Menke was taken off life support on Tuesday.
Her family is considering legal action and is expressing concerns about safety protocols at the facility. Ellipsis has expressed deep sadness over the loss and is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
