(Red Oak) On Tuesday, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors approved the letting of the H34 East widening project. The County received the maximum amount of $500,000 from the Traffic Safety Improvement Program Funding for the project to be let before July 1, 2024.
County Engineer Karen Albert says the project runs from Nature Avenue to M55. The project will add 22 feet of width with a safety edge.
