(Des Moines) Des Moines police released the victim’s name, who died in a crash on Wednesday night. Two cars crashed close to 11 p.m. at 2nd Avenue and Holcomb Avenue near the Birdland Pool. Authorities found 73-year-old Larry Wayne Grant dead at the scene. Grant was driving his F-150, and the other driver was in an Impala. That driver was not injured.
