(Denver, CO) The NFL has suspended a former Iowa State Football Player for gambling. On Monday, the league announced Broncos defensive end Eyioma Uwazurike will be suspended indefinitely for betting on NFL games during the 2022 season. Uwazurike will be able to petition for reinstatement in July 2024. As a rookie last season, he played eight games for the Broncos after the team drafted him in the fourth round out of Iowa State. Uwazurike was named first-team All-Big 12 in 2021.
