(Area) The field for the boys state golf tournament will be set on Monday. District Tournaments tee off at 10:00 a.m.
The top two teams and top two individuals not on a qualifying team will advance. If a host school is in the top two then a third -school can advance.
Crestwood Hills in Anita is a 1A District site. Teams in the field are Montezuma, South Hamilton, Keota, North Mahaska, HLV, CAM, Fremont-Mills, Earlham, Mount Ayr, and Bedford. Griswold has two individuals in the field with Kamron Brownlee and Hogan Hook.
Audubon, Westwood, Remsen St. Mary’s, Akron-Westfield, GTRA, Newell-Fonda, St. Edmond, Gehlen Catholic, and Kingsley-Pierson are the teams at the Class 1A District Meet at Gehlen Catholic (Willow Creek). Exira-EHK’s Trey Petersen will be in the field as an individual.
Kuemper Catholic (Carroll Country Club) hosts in Class 2A. Teams will be Kuemper Catholic, South Central Calhoun, PCM, DM Christian, VAan Meter, and Treynor.
In Class 3A the teams at Atlantic Golf and Country Club will be Winterset, Clarke, ADM, and Ballard.
