(Ames, IA) The Iowa State men’s basketball team is losing some depth. Freshman reserve guard Eli King entered the transfer portal yesterday. King came off the bench to play in just nine games last season, averaging just one-point-two points per game. King played for Caledonia High School in Minnesota and averaged 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 42 steals per game as a senior. He chose Iowa State over offers from Iowa, Marquette, Minnesota, Stanford, Nebraska, and Northern Iowa.
