(Marshalltown) A man is in custody in connection with the Marshalltown death investigation. On Sunday, law enforcement arrested 20-year-old Amarrion Demier Isom and charged him with first-degree murder for the death of 27-year-old Isaiah Montell Forest of Marshalltown.
Law enforcement responded to 618 West Boone Street in Marshalltown late Friday afternoon for a report of an injured person. When Officers arrived, they found Forest deceased. An autopsy revealed Forest died of a gunshot wound.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Marshall County Attorney’s Office are assisting the Marshalltown Police Department with this investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Marshalltown Police Department.
