(Harlan) The Glenwood boys Cross Country Team claimed the Hawkeye Ten Conference Meet crown with three runners in the top ten and all five scoring runners in the top fifteen. The Rams ran away with the team title with 38-points in the meet at Harlan on Thursday.
Bryant Kellar and Andrew Smith went second and third; Liam Hays, eighth; Kevin Coots, eleventh; Preston Slayman, Jackson Griffin, and Dillon Anderson all finished in a pack in 14th, 15th, and 16th place.
Ethan Eichhorn of Lewis Central ran 15.40.65 and topped the field of 72 runners for the second straight year. Eichhorn finished third as a freshman and now has back-to-back titles. The Titans finished the meet in second place with 75-points, and St. Albert was third with 88. Kuemper, fourth, 118, and Atlantic finished fifth with 131.
The top three runners for Atlantic finished in a pack. Devon Fields, 20th, Alex Sonntag, 21st, and Christian Thompson, 22nd. Mason McFadden was 32nd, Tyrell Williams was 36th, and Luke Irlmeier was 40th.
