(Atlantic) Atlantic Mayor Grace Garrett reported to the City Council on Wednesday about a bus tour while attending the Iowa League of Cities meeting in Waterloo. Garrett attended the meeting with four council members and City Clerk Barb Barrick.
Mayor Garrett says she took a bus tour through a couple of re-vamped neighborhoods spurred by partnerships between the city, churches, and investors.
Mayor Garrett plans to share more on this concept later. Garrett says she was encouraged and feels this same concept can be implemented in Atlantic.
