(Atlantic) Atlantic Mayor Grace Garrett announced at Wednesday’s City Council meeting that Atlantic Parks and Recreation Director Bryant Rasmussen submitted his resignation letter to the City Council on Monday.
Atlantic City Administrator John Lund says Bryant Rasmussen informed Atlantic City Administrator John Lund earlier this week that he was taking a job with the Department of Agriculture Soil and Water Conservation District in Mills County. “I am going to miss Bryant,” said Lund. “He has done much for this community, and we wish him all the best.”
Lund says they will search for a new director in the coming weeks.
Bryant Rassmussen joined the Parks and Recreation Department in November 2018 and took over as the Parks and Rec. Director in March 2019.
Bryant Rasmussen’s last day on the job is October 21.
